Sonic the Fighters has a surprisingly good soundtrack for being a low-budget arcade game. It's not a masterpiece by any means, but it gets the job done. There's a lot of influence from the animes of its time, and some of the music is remniscent of the Kirby games. While some people might not care for it, just about everyone can agree it's the best part of the game.
